Grenada

To better see the island, we took the East Coast tour. After traveling on narrow roads through small villages, our driver made the first stop at a small beach to give us a look at the Atlantic. Then we went through Grenada’s second town, Grenville, and began climbing the hill up to Grand Etang National Park where we spent an hour. Taran joined in making music with the local musicians entertaining the tourists. At Grand Etang, we viewed the lake in the crater and the Mono monkeys. On the way back to St. George’s, we visited Annandale Falls.

In town with a little time left before we had to be back to the ship, Taran and I climbed up to Fort George to see the fortress and enjoy the fantastic views of the city and the bay.
